Do we have to set everything up ourselves on the day of the wedding?
As you may be aware we do not offer access to set up the day before your wedding. The Larchfield Team however would meet with you prior to the big day and will personally oversee the set up for you making sure that everything is exactly as you want it. The team are very well versed in personally overseeing this and setting up weddings for couples on the day of their wedding – we take pride in setting up the Barn to your exact requests, and will ensure that everything is completely in place as planned prior to guests arriving.
At the set up meeting we would take delivery of wines, cakes etc. and any other small décor that you would like us to place for you. We would then place the wines/bubbles in the fridge first thing on the morning of your wedding so that it is ready and chilled for your arrival and will put all the details in place as requested by yourselves at the set up meeting.
Your caterer would come in the morning of your wedding to set up all the tables and chairs, set out the crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. – your florist, decorators (if applicable) and any other suppliers would also come in the morning of your wedding to set their items up. If you plan on having lots and lots of bunting, pom poms, fairy lights etc. we would recommend that you book a reputable event design company to do this for you – only if this is outside the abilities/time available for our team to take care of this for you – please do discuss your plans with us beforehand and we’ll be able to let you know if we’ll need an extra pair of hands.
