Baker McKenzie had their directors flying into Belfast from around the world in September. They wanted a private and unique venue that could help show off Northern Ireland for their senior management meeting, team building activity and exclusive evening dining.
They explored many corporate meeting venues in Northern Ireland but ultimately selected Larchfield Estate. Larchfield offers a unique and unusual experience, a far cry from the plain rectangular box of an office meeting room. The venue offers privacy, seclusion and fresh country air so you can fully engage in your work.
With an exclusive space that suited their requirement, Baker McKenzie felt that the surrounding environment and service offered by Larchfield were exceptional and conducive to a highly productive session.
Baker McKenzie Belfast were asked to host the annual international directors’ meeting – an event that is hosted in alternating international locations where the global company has a presence.

Working with Field Dynamics and Life Adventures the events team at Larchfield drew up proposals in line with the client briefs, arranged private chefs, using high end local produce cooked fresh on site, provided breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and recommended photographers and entertainment for the event.
The client wanted a fun, motivational and potentially competitive event to energise individuals and activate ‘team’.
A format that actively accommodates circa 30 delegates with a duration of circa 4 hours to include activities to accommodate the range of abilities and preferences of the delegates with flexibility to accommodate weather changes.
Working with Life Adventures, with a combination of supplier site visits and client liaison, a programme was custom designed to offer three rotating activities – with a grand finale to bring delegates back together for cumulative end of event.
