Falconry, Awards and a growing team at Larchfield Events Team

Jun 17 2014

Well it has been a little while since I last wrote on our blog – apologies. Doesn’t mean that we haven’t been busy though!

Since October we have helped lots of gorgeous couples celebrate their big day with us. From smaller weddings for 50 people to larger ones of 200 plus guests – some with ceremonies on site (religious or civil) and some reception only. Some planned within months of booking and some in the planning for years. We have had reindeer through to Chinese and Indian influenced weddings – we love the variation! The feedback and thankyous have been really touching – as ever we love it when people have the day that they dream of. On a personal note we also welcomed a baby girl into the world – another incredibly special moment.

On the corporate front we have hosted the Lisburn Chamber of Commerce Awards, the CIPD awards dinner in conjunction with Inform Communications as well as a charity tea for the Girl Guides and our own Mothering Sunday tea in aid of Cash for Kids where over £1,700 was raised. We also hosted the annual Burns Night dinner in aid of a local charity where £4,000 was raised…thank you so much to all who helped support these events.

We have also launched a series of new activities that are available for couples on site looking for something a little different – from falconry displays to segways do let us know if you are interested…

And finally …

The Larchfield Team has also been growing Natasha Elliott works part time for us on the corporate front, whilst Sharon and Helen have joined to help mainly with the weddings. This now means that we have 6 members full time in the office to help with all the little details for your big day – giving the benefit of flexibility with the support in pulling it all together!
