The Stables at Larchfield is located in the original 19th century store house & stables building, with a beautiful, cobblestone courtyard. Recently finished to the highest standard and in keeping with the rest of the Estate, The Stables offers a picturesque and new addition to the Larchfield offering.

It can be booked separate to or in conjunction with both the walled gardens and Larchfield Barn.

Leading on from the cobbled courtyard the entrance area features the original windows, including stained glass made by the current owners grandfather and interior stone walls. A good reception area for delegates to register or a welcome point for an evening event.

Licensed for 172 conference style or well suited for dinners of up to 50 people The Main Room in the Stables at Larchfield offers an inviting mix of recent finishes and original features. With a state of  the art PA System and plenty of room for presenting Larchfield offers a professional environment with traditional style. The new interiors provide a fresh offering in the beautiful old setting that is Larchfield. Wifi, projectors etc. available on request.

The Hallway provides a good break out area where teas and coffees can be served during breaks.

This leads through to newly installed cloakrooms, styled in a traditional feel the doors were made by one of the estate workmen.

Across the cobbled courtyard is a large covered area – ideal for setting up a BBQ, Paella pan, Nan oven or Hog Roast – alternatively lunch can be served in the main barn which is just a short walk away. Given the proximity The Stables can also provide a good break out area for larger groups if needed.

The Stables has an entertainments license and, as well as being available for day delegates, works well for private dinner parties, wine tasting evenings or art exhibitions and private meetings. The secure nature of the Estate guarantees you privacy – it is hard to imagine you are just 15 minutes from Belfast city centre or 1hr 40 from Dublin.

Car Parking is provided in a tree lined paddock adjoining the walled garden, or there is ample space in the gravel car park adjacent. The cobbled courtyard can of course also be used for parking if preferred and often provides a good drop off point for taxis or buses.

The Walled Gardens
As well as the Stables area and Courtyard you can have exclusive use of the Estate’s private walled gardens, which have been lovingly restored over many years by the current owners. Over 4 acres in size they provide an elegant backdrop for drinks and canapés in warmer months and, being a short walk from The Stables offer a superb area for groups to wander around during breaks.
